George Washington Chapter members forming up for the annual march down
the bowling green at George Washington's Mount Vernon on July 4, 2010.

The Fifes & Drums of Prince William III and the VASSAR Color Guard
led the march toward the bowling green.

Chapter Vice President Paul Briggs served as master of ceremonies
in the Tomb Grove at Mount Vernon.

General Daniel McGuire gave an invocation at the start
of the program at the Tomb Grove.

Chapter Secretary Donald W. Kellerman led the crowd
in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Chapter Treasurer Michael J. Elston introduced the winner of the chapter's
Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest, Rebecca Tamiru.

Rebecca Tamiru, a junior at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington,
presented her award-winning historical oration and received an extended
round of applause from the crowd.

Chapter members, their families, and guests of Mt. Vernon laid a wreath
and carnations at the Tomb of General George Washington.
